What Mountainbike Awards 2006 - MTB of the year!!!

Storck has always delivered particularly beautiful babies onto the doorsteps of those
bikers with plenty of money, but the Adrenalin is a true standout MTB. The faux bar rear linkage, Fox RP3 shock and 6lb weight for just
under 100mm of travel aren’t exceptional, but what we fell in love with is the way Storck puts it all together. The fat, hand laid carbon
tubes of the monocoque mainframe are reinforced round the head tube and seat tube for maximum stiffness and the all round tracking from the frame is phenomenal.
There’s plenty of tyre room in the immaculately CNC machined alloy rear end, and stiffness is further increase by the carbon fibre rocker plates. The mix of thrust and radial bearings that Storck’s been using
for almost a decade has one of the best longevity reputations in the industry, and even if it does fail it’s designed not to damage the frame in any way. All this thought and detailing translates to an equally sorted and fl uid race/hard ride character on the trail too.
So while the frame isn’t cheap, by a long stretch of the imagination, we reckon it’s well worth the price if you can afford it as it was one of the few bikes this year to net
a ‘perfect 10’ for performance.
